We are one big family. Your counselor at eCamp is not only there to supervise or to teach, but to become a part of your family. During many months before the summer we process job applications, check staff backgrounds, extensively interview & vet. The training of our staff candidates includes simulations of all aspects of a day at eCamp Israel.
	Who are the counselors? The counselors are adults, mainly between the ages 20-25, that have experience in working with kids. We are proud of the wonderful mix of backgrounds that builds our team: college students & graduates, people serving or who have served in the Israeli Army's Technology Units, and experienced International camp counselors & supervisors. Each of them brings their special talents and their fields of interests, so you can be sure you will find experience, professionalism and a deep care for the success & happiness of the participants. All our staff speak English, and most of them are bilingual.
	It is not simple to get the job. We head-hunt our staff - only those who show real commitment to the eCamp Israel mission and standards become team members. We double-check backgrounds and require a proven past experience. All staff members participate in our weeklong pre-camp orientation week, and commit to our Standards of Excellence.
	Workshops leaders The counselors deliver the eWorkshops. At an average ratio of 5 campers per counselor, each camper gets personal attention and assistance. Counselors are trained to teach by our proven curriculums, and add their own knowledge and experience to ensure the success of the campers projects.
